Brad earned an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. from Syracuse University. He grew up in Rhode Island and in New York. He has two children. His daughter, Meighan teaches high school English and is a proud member of the National Education Association. His son, James is a college student and a political science major.
